Our Services

We offer a range of physiotherapy services to help you achieve your wellness goals, including:

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is an evidence-based healthcare discipline focused on restoring movement, reducing pain, and improving overall function after injury, illness, or surgery. Through a combination of manual therapy, targeted exercises, education, and specialized techniques, our physiotherapists work to address the root cause of discomfort—not just the symptoms. This approach helps our patients recover mobility, build strength, prevent future injuries, and return to their daily activities with confidence. Whether you’re managing a sports injury, chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, or everyday aches, our physiotherapists provide a personalized path to recovery and long-term wellness.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is rooted in over 2,000 years of observation, philosophy, and clinical practice. It’s based on the idea that health depends on the harmonious balance of the body’s vital energy—known as Qi—as well as the interplay between natural forces like Yin and Yang.
TCM uses a holistic approach to treat not just symptoms, but the underlying patterns of imbalance in the body. Through therapies like acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, and moxibustion, it supports the body’s natural healing processes, improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and promotes overall well-being.
It can be a valuable alternative or complement to modern medicine because it focuses on preventive care, chronic condition management, and personalized treatment, often with fewer side effects. By combining both Eastern and Western approaches, patients can benefit from a more comprehensive and balanced path to health.

Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialized form of physiotherapy designed to treat dizziness, vertigo, balance problems, and other inner ear–related disorders. Conditions like Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), vestibular hypofunction, and post-concussion dizziness can significantly impact daily life—but targeted physiotherapy can help restore stability and confidence. Physiotherapists use specific repositioning maneuvers (such as the Epley maneuver) to correct BPPV, along with gaze stabilization exercises, balance training, and habituation techniques to retrain the brain and vestibular system. Treatment is personalized to address the underlying cause, helping reduce symptoms like spinning sensations, unsteadiness, nausea, and motion sensitivity. With consistent care, vestibular rehabilitation can significantly improve balance, reduce dizziness, and help patients return to normal activities safely and
effectively.

Motor Vehicle Accident

If you’ve been injured in a motor vehicle accident, physiotherapy can play a vital role in your recovery. Our team provides comprehensive assessments and personalized treatment plans to address common injuries such as whiplash, soft tissue damage, back and neck pain, and joint stiffness. We focus on pain management, restoring mobility, rebuilding strength, and preventing long-term complications, so you can safely return to your daily activities. In Ontario, accident related physiotherapy is often covered through auto insurance, and we can help guide you through the claim process to ensure you get the care you need without added stress. Our goal is to support your recovery every step of the way—from the initial injury to full rehabilitation

Acupuncture/Dry needling

Western Acupuncture, like Traditional Chinese Medicine uses meridian points, but applies these points to western scientific reasoning and knowledge of anatomy as well as neurophysiology. On an extremely simplistic level, these needles increase blood flow and local stimulation of the nervous system through the meridian points to decrease inflammation and promote healing. Dry needling on the other hand, uses acupuncture needles but instead of using meridian points we are treating the motor points or trigger points of a muscle to relax the entire muscle.

Gua Sha

Gua sha originated from Traditional Chinese Medicine as a healing method, with multiple benefits. In our clinic a trained professional uses a smooth-edged tool to scrape or stroke your skin to increase blood flow and break up fascial restrictions . This technique causes small, red, rash-like dots to appear under your skin. This is a good thing as it helps get rid of toxins in the muscles. These bumps are called “petechiae”.

Cupping

Cupping therapy uses the force of suction to pull blood toward the surface of your skin. This suction force expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under your skin. The idea is to increase your body’s natural healing response.

Manual Therapy

Our manual therapy techniques include joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and myofascial release. These techniques can help reduce pain and improve range of motion.

We believe in empowering our patients with the knowledge and tools they need to prevent future injuries. We provide education on proper posture, body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies.
